Condition Report:
This lot is comprised of 2 works. The works are in very good condition. These works are framed under glass in natural wood tray frames, presented float-mounted and attached to their backing in places from the reverse. The edges of the sheets are deckled, deemed inherent to the artist's use of materials and studio technique.
(i)
Artist's Frame: There are very minor occasional indentations to the upper horizontal and right vertical turnover edges, only visible on close inspection.
Glass: There is a minor faint hairline scratch to the lower horizontal edge, only visible on close inspection.
Sheet: The sheet is slightly undulated, deemed inherent to the mounting method and only visible on close inspection. There is a very minor faint crease to the upper left corner, only visible on very close inspection and under raking light.
(ii)
Artist's frame: There are very minor occasional indentations to the upper horizontal and right vertical turnover edges, only visible on close inspection. There is a minor media accretion to the right vertical edge, only visible on close inspection.
Glass: There are very minor pinpoint accretions and faint hairline scratches in places, most noticeably to the left vertical edge, all only visible on very close inspection.
Sheet: The sheet is slightly undulated, deemed inherent to the mounting method and only visible on close inspection. There are very minor faint creases to the edges in isolated places, only visible on very close inspection and under raking light.
The works have been examined under ultraviolet light, and there is no evidence of restoration. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with these works.
