A Magnificent Art Deco diamond cocktail ring, set in 18K gold, Europe or Russia, circa 1920s-1940s.; The elegant 18 karat white gold setting has been prong set with a central old mine cut diamond measuring, approximately, 1.09 carats. The gem has very good color (E-G) and clarity (SI). It is complemented by 8 old mine cut diamonds totaling, approximately, 1.60 carats together. All the gems have very good color (E-G) and clarity (VS).; The cluster ring is in excellent vintage condition, showing only general signs of wear. Mentioned for accuracy the central stone has minute chips, seen under a jewelers loop, which do not detract from its overall fineness. It weighs approximately 8.76 grams and the face of the ring measures 0.59 inches (1.5 cm) across. It is US ring size 8 3/4 (UK ring size R). It is not marked but acid tested positive for 18Kt gold.
