Intricate openwork and fine milgrain detailing lend depth and definition to the sculptural design. At the center rests a marquise-cut diamond measuring approximately 6.00 x 2.50 mm, displaying excellent VS clarity. Aside from minor surface blemishes to the sapphire accents, including scattered abrasions and nicks, the brooch remains in very good overall condition. The pinstem may be a later addition, based on its method of attachment observed during inspection.
