Beautiful flanged, stamped brass holder and cranberry insert in an art nouveau design. Brass base has been piercing with an open lined design. There are three stamped diamond designs in the middle of each segment and three pierced flange feet. There is a base lip to hold the glass insert. The brass is thin and lightweight. The cranberry glass looks solid and due to the wear inside and outside, I believe it is not flashed cranberry. There is a star pattern on the bottom of the glass dish. MEASUREMENTS: 6” diameter (just the glass), 2 ½Â” tall at the rim. 3” tall at the legs. Weights 1 lb 2.7 oz CONDITION: The brass shows some age spotting but they are slight. The brass has a worn finish not shiny. The glass has some tiny rim chips. There is wear and scale showing on the glass inside base, probably from coming in contact with the metal base. Wonderful classic art nouveau look. It shows off well. ITEM: V-637
