Art Nouveau tabletop mirror in silver pewter with beveled moon.

Art Nouveau desktop mirror. Silver tin with bevelled mirror. Germany, circa 1900. The back is made of wood, as may be seen in the pictures. Dimensions: 37 x 28 cm The mirror is decorated with a feminine figure on the right side. The relief decorative motifs made in tin frame the glass of the mirror and present the characteristic motifs of the Art Nouveau style. Sinuous and elongated shapes and bouquets of flowers. On the whole composition stands out the feminine figure of a slender woman, dressed with an elegant dress which adapts to her figure. Condition: Very good, except for a minor crack on one of the legs and which is due to usage and the passage of time. (You can see it in the pictures) Highly sought after piece among Art Nouveau enthusiasts.
