Arthur McCall paints the landscapes and landmarks of his South Texas home in highly detailed and vivid colors. McCall considers himself a largely self-taught artist, though he does have a background in commercial art studies. After a military tour in Vietnam, McCall returned home to begin a long career as a Texas Game Warden, retiring in 2012. Collectors of his art include musician George Strait.
