Arthur Quartley

(New York/England/France/Italy,1839-1886) Oil on canvas of young ladies on beach at moonrise titled on verso, "Watching The Moonrise." The piece is in original unaltered as found condition. No restoration has been done or inpaint. The piece has two punctures that are clean and in the sky of the piece. Very restorable condition. Signed lower left and on verso. H13" W23" (without frame) Recently discovered by the current owner in Charleston, South Carolina.
