The cedars depicted in the work can be found in various works by Bartolomeo Bimbi (Settignano, May 15, 1648 - Florence, January 14, 1729) , botanist and painter at the Medici court. The work has been the subject of a conservative intervention and has some restoration points concentrated in the upper right part of the work. It has also undergone a cleaning operation to remove the layers of yellowed paint applied in different eras. The canvas is in excellent condition and the paint surface is perfectly adherent. There is a nineteenth-century relining. The painting is certified by an expert in art history, who certifies its authenticity, age and state of conservation. The original certificate will be sent together with the work. The photos were taken in natural light conditions, some with direct sunlight, others in shade.
