Oil on canvas depicting a portrait of the French Catholic archbishop Francois De Harlay De Champvallon, French artist mid-18th century. Coming from a private collection and part of a couple. It is in a fairly conservative state, in patina. First canvas and coeval frame. Small restorations emerge at the Wood lamp. Signs of aging as seen in the photos. Upon verification with solvents, it was found to be authentic in all its parts. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and lawful origin from our gallery with photos as required by law.
