Etz Chaim is the title of a fundamental work on the Ari's writings. The book was written by Rabbi Chaim Vital, who was a leading disciple of the Ari, and it introduces the Ari's doctrine, which Rabbi Vital heard from him.
The book introduced a new Kabbalistic doctrine and greatly affected the world of Jewish thought, mainly Kabbalistic and Chassidic movements.
Fine scribal script. Part of the manuscript is with headings and side-headings.
