Apparently, when shampoo doesn’t work on dander, it’s time to break out the big guns: the Aspiron electric vacuum cleaner. The incongruity of the situation and the little polar bear's dubious glance make this a highly memorable design for a product that may seem mundane today—but one that was revolutionary at the time of this poster's creation. Both the porter and the stuffed toy brought to life were frequent guests in Vincent's work; see PAI-XLVII, 37 and PAI-XXX, 681, respectively.
