Some with black printed HB & Cie. monogram marks for Hautin, Boulanger, most with design patented on 4 December 1900, retailer's marks for Higgins & Seiter, New York, various impressed marks and painter's numerals, the plates molded with six variant pastoral views of rabbits grazing near cultivated gardens, the mug handle formed as a bounding hare, comprising six tapering cylindrical mugs and eleven lobed plates, height of mug 3 5/8 inches; diameter of plate 8 5/8 inches; Together with a Set of Six H.B. Choisy-Le-Roi Majolica Fowl Plates. Circa 1900. Five with printed crowned Boulanger & Co. shield marks, one with a printed HB & Cie. monogram mark for Hautin, Boulanger, various impressed and painted marks, each center painted with a large fowl, including a mallard, a swan, a pheasant, a cockerel, a hen with chicks and a peacock, diameter 8 3/8 inches.

Condition Report: Mugs: hairline to one mug, originating at the top and extending downwards (approx. 1 1/2 in.); interior staining to all mugs; crazing to glaze; not blacklighted
Rabbit Plates: one plate with a hairline crack at its rim (approx. 1 in.)(visible on both the top side and underside); one plate with approx. two flake glaze losses at the rim; crazing to glaze; many with some stains to the front side (some light staining to the underside); there are a total of six different rabbit scenes; not blacklighted
Bird Plates: one plate with a hairline that is only visible on the underside; another plate with a small flake loss at its rim; crazing to glaze; some slight variation to size; not blacklighted
