Assorted Ladies Evening Bags and Other Bags, including a black velvet evening jacket, Edna Wallace black straw and ribbon trimmed hat, various evening bags and purses including eastern woven examples, sequin, bead, brocade and silk embroidered examples etc, (one box) Dutton Manor, Lancashire

Black velvet evening jacket - some stitched repairs and wear to velvet. Four black velvet Indian type bags - slight wear to some of metal threads, insides ok. Black grosgrain with floral embroidery - slight fading and wear. Black velvet with gilt metal hinge - later stitched/repaired. Black bead with wrigglework design - bead loss to outside. Machine tapestry bag - fading and wear, some staining inside. Cream metallic purse - discoloured to exterior and staining, pen mark to inside. Rust silk brocade bag - exterior good - some staining to inside. Black fabric deco bag with paste clip - fabric good to outside and inside, some stones missing. Black sequin and bead bag - good. 1930s front and back bead purse - ok condition. French pale green purse with beads - some staining to the outside, interior ok, loose threads. Embroidered coat hanger cover - good condition. pair of blue silk purses - rubbing and wear, some discolouration to both. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
