Aston Martin - DB7 6.0 V12 Vantage convertible - 1999

[ translate ]

Here you can see a 12-cylinder engine with 6 liter displacement, 48 valves and a manual 6-speed gearbox from the English luxury brand Aston Martin. Aston Martin's successful DB7 was available with six-cylinder turbo engines for several years and was completely redesigned and technically upgraded in 1999. It got better brakes, a more stable chassis and large high beams integrated into the front bumper. But what is particularly noteworthy is that it was the brand's first V12. The DB7 designed by Scotsman Ian Callum is certainly a great collector's item. With 420 hp, it is more powerful than the Ferrari Modena or the Porsche GT3 from the same period. The Aston sprints from 0-100 km / h in 5. 1 seconds and easily reaches a top speed of 270 km / h. The body was painted in a beautiful dark blue metallic. You can tell by looking at the car that it has not been driven much and when the weather is nice. Just a stunning convertible. The interior is also impressive, because it impresses with a beautiful combination of white leather and polished root wood. This wonderful convertible has always been well maintained. All booklets are included as well as a large number of documentation from the past. The car was serviced annually and the registration never ran over the winter. It still has traces of use but this is completely normal due to the age of the vehicle. The top has small cracks on both sides (see pictures) which can be fixed by a good saddler on the existing top. The windshield has a small stone chip (see picture) and the leather shows simple signs of wear. Nonetheless, the Aston Martin is doing well, even the reviewer was positively impressed with the condition of the vehicle, apart from the defects listed. A German road approval has not yet been applied for. The last official approval was in the Lowlands. Driving the model is a pleasure and just because of its right-hand drive it is a great experience that comes very close to the original. You are also welcome to get an impression of this wonderful Aston Martin to admire it in its natural beauty. The car is in our sales room in Zwickau, Germany. It can also be picked up there.
