Here is for auction stunning 1950's era Astor chronograph wristwatch in gold plated oversize 36mm case and with reliable Landeron hand-wind movement. Massive case with beautiful lugs is in original excellent condition, retains it's all original bevels and shows only normal small signs of wearing-please see photos. Screw down case back is in excellent condition. Original dial with applied arabic numerals and applied hour markers is in very good original condition, never restored or repainted and shows only some natural patine. Genuine golden hands are looking great, acrylic crystal is clear, crown is sharp. Excellent movement of the watch is clean, running strong and keeps accurate time very well. Chronograph function is working properly and resets to zero.
