The reverence for him at the time can be learned from the special words of Hrh"k the Divrei Chaim of Sanz who quoted: When in Galicia one says just "Rabbi" this implies the "Ateret Tzvi".
Also quoted by his son the holy Rabbi Yechezkal of Shinova, the exceptional expression in the name of hrh"k Rabbi Meir of Premishlan the Hrh"k of Dinov that it is equaly significant to travel to Ziditchov on the 11th day of Tamuz as is to travel to the grave of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in Miron on Lag BeOmer!!
