At 27 cm high and 23 cm wide, the "Atmos Royale" is considerably larger than the "normal", usually quite plain Atmos clock. The protruding base and the bun feet give this model an almost luxurious appearance, which is emphasized by the striking red lacquer and the unusual gilt dial. The clock is a first edition "Royale" fitted with calibre 526 - as is the second series, while a third series produced in the 1980s was using calibre 540. The Royale was available between 1978 and 1984.
