Attic Pottery Figural Oinochoe, Attributed to the Cook Class, c. 500 - 475 B.C.
Moulded in the form of a woman’s head with an oval face, straight nose and rounded chin, her almond-shaped eyes and long curving brows in black, the sclera white. Wearing a black sakkos encircled by a white myrtle wreath, the curls on her forehead reserved, consisting of three rows of raised dots, a black band at the bottom of the flaring neck suggesting the collar of her garment. With high black handle and trefoil mouth.
