He attended the Brera Academy having as his teachers Carpi and Palanti. He made numerous portraits of personalities of politics and entertainment. The portrait of Giorgio Strehler is located at the La Scala museum. He alternated his activity as a portraitist and landscape artist. His frequent trips to Paris, Normandy, Brittany, Spain, England and the United States fascinated him, giving him the opportunity to make a large series of landscapes in various periods. In 1999, the municipality of Milan awarded him the Attestato di Benemerenza.
