Oil painting on panel by artist Alessandro La Volpe, born in Lucera Fg, in 1820, who lived in Naples and then moved to Rome, where he died on 2nd August 1887. A pupil of Smargiassi and Fergola, he was appointed Honorary Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
