Attractive Bru Bebe.

Very pretty 17 - 1/2" bisque head doll with head incised in back "BRU. Jne 7". She has brown glass inset paperweight eyes, oil painted lashes and brows, a closed mouth with hint of a white space in between, pierced ears, on the original wood and composition body with mainly good original patina. The clothing appears to be all original or at least of the period of the doll with original blonde curly mohair wig over cork pate, a green silk dress with silk ribbon sash at waist (frail with typical melting of fabric), lovely pale green wool coat with velvet trim at sleeves and collar, leather gloves and antique black leather shoes, which appear to be original, impressed on the sole "7" and the logo of a squirrel with a long, extended tail. Overall condition is very good, however has some excess color in the mold lines on both sides of the head below the ears and extended to the neckline. This is not a damage, but is mentioned for full disclosure. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 17 - 1/2" x 8 - 1/2" x 4".
