Early 19th century commonplace book and/or friendship album, with initial entry signed "E. W. Worcester, August 6, 1828." 12mo, in period full calf stamped in blind and gilt. Many skillful drawings and entries in various neat hands. Includes approx. 22 leaves on the "Origin of Newspapers" in five parts, a series of excellent pencil drawings (5), paintings (9), and numerous manuscript sentiments. Ca. 1820s-1830s
