Modelled as a bee, the eyes accented with a circular-cut ruby, the abdomen similarly decorated with yellow sapphires, the the thorax and wings pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the rubies, sapphires and diamonds together stated to weigh 0.10 carats, 2.83 carats and 1.21 carats respectively, mounted in 18ct gold

Condition: In very good condition. The forty-five circular-cut sapphires together weighing 2.83 carats are well matched, of a yellow hue, strong saturation and typical naturally occurring inclusions, the two circular-cut rubies together weighing 0.10 carats are well matched, of a red hue, strong saturation and typical naturally occurring inclusions, whilst the twenty-eight diamonds together weighing 1.21 carats are bright and lively, graded F-G colour and VS clarity.
