An attractive Romano-British zoomorphic bronze brooch, c. 2nd Century AD, in the form of a stag, and with a tinned front surface, L: 1 1/8 in (2.9cm). Well-preserved with original catch, but missing pin Custom base. Ex Royal Athena Gallery, New York; Ex collection of Lord McAlpine of West Green, England.
