Attributed to: LAURENT BOUVIER (1840-1901) a large ovoid baluster form vase in glazed earthenware, with cylindrical neck, circa 1871-1872, finely incised and scarified decoration of large stylized geometric forms on a background of friezes of chevrons, balustrades, and cusps, main frieze of black panthers, over a bluish green frieze of square and diagonal geometric motifs.

- Colored enamels: white, purplish, ocher, black, green, brown, and pink.
- Size: 22 1/8 inches.
- Condition: Some old professional repairs, mostly on rim, (see images).
