Attribuito alla Fornace Cappellin - Hanging lamp - Murano - Amber glass. Early 1900s. Rare

A large and ancient glass chandelier, entirely handmade in Murano, in the first half of the 20th century with amber/yellow glass. A high antique chandelier.

It comes from an elegant villa on the Vicenza hills. This rare chandelier was located in the large hall-library. The heirs recall that it was purchased from the famous Fornace Cappellin in Murano, but given the time, the documents have not been preserved.

It is a very bright chandelier, with beautiful reflections, also suitable for modern home furnishings.

Very elegant object with reflections that vary depending on the ambient light. Look at all the photos to appreciate the colors and reflections.

- 6 arms with large raised edge cups that can be pulled out of the arm. The lamp holders of the period are made of lacquered wood.
Large holster with a typical shape of the time and the finial and bow are also very elegant

Good storage conditions: the chandelier is intact and complete
All pieces were made by hand and therefore none are identical to the other.

Diameter 95 cm. Height 135cm. with the ceiling architrave supported by the wrought iron support typical of these early 20th century chandeliers.
Also note the perforated and shaped wooden disc which attests to its authenticity.
The wiring is working. Fits E14 bulbs.

It will be shipped disassembled. It has only been dusted to maintain the patina of time, but can be easily washed before assembly
