A nice World War II era U.S. Navy visor cap with a old label note inside hand written to Lieutenant Wallace Johnson navy World War II ace, fighter pilot, 53 combat missions. This came out of a very old collection from a gentleman who collected mostly directly from the veterans. Can I confirm the accuracy of this but I wouldn't doubt if this is the case. Regardless, nice visor cap worthy of more research.
