A pair of old master male portraits was created in the 18 century and attributed by old master experts in Dorotheum Auctionshouse, Vienna to well-known German landscape painter Christian Wilhelm Ernst Dietrich Dietrichy (1712 Weimar-1774 Dresden) . For comparison see additional photos of similar works by the same artist from the collection of Hermitage, St. Petersburg. The artist travelled to Rome and Venice 1743 and our works are from this periode. Condition: in very good condition for the age.
