French harbour scene (Bretagne, Normandy?) was created in the last quarter of 19th century and signed by the artist with the monogramm E. I. Fully identical monogram and the style of the work give us all criteria to attribute it to the hand of renowed French marine painter Eugene Isabey (1803 Paris - 1886 Montevrain) .
