A very finely cast, cold-painted bronze figure of a fruit seller, holding aloft scales on which he weighs a banana, measuring 10. 3cm in height and weighing 957g, not stamped but the quality and subject suggests an attribution to foundry Franz Bergmann (1861-1936) , sometimes spelled Bergman. The scales have moving parts, see pictures. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
