There is a slight yellowing visible to the varnish in areas. Examination under UV shows some areas more heavily cleaned then others, as well as traces of overpainting visible (areas of blue in the sky, some of the darker clouds to the right side of the image). Craquelure visible. Relined. Some areas of residue, discoloration and minor loss visible. Some losses visible to the molded frame.
Stretchers measure 36 x 45 inches.
Frame: 42 3/4 x 51 7/8 inches. Canvas is re-lined.
