Willis (1850-1925, English), "Ship's Diorama of a Single Mast Schooner," oil on canvas, with relief cloth sails and embroidered decoration, presented in a gilt shadowbox frame, H.- 17 3/4 in., W.- 23 1/2 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Gertrude "Peggy" Logan Simpson Howcott, New Orleans, LA.
Condition Report: Main sale is off white with brown area on back edge – 3” x 1”. Fore sails and top sail are yellowed-brown.
