Auburn Speedster Co. - Speedster 851 recreation from 1973 in good condition. There have been many different manufacturers of these so-called second generation cars. Some manufacturers have produced these vehicles under licence from Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg / Auburn Speedster Company. These vehicles are all 2nd generation Auburn vehicles and are not replicas. All the other manufacturers have built replicas that are not comparable with the 2nd generation Auburn Speedsters. Built by the Auburn Speedster Company in New York in 1973, adapted to the taste of the first owner Uncle Willy. . . This manufacturer not only works under the license of Auburn-Cord-Duessenberg Co. , but was also part of the Auburn Speedster Co. This 2nd generation copy is exceptional for a 1930s replica of the Auburn 851 Speedster Boattail Supercharged! The last owner, a French doctor practising in the EU, had it for over 20 years and repatriated it to France after deciding to leave the United States about ten years ago. The seller bought this vehicle about five years ago. In exceptional condition. Mustang 289CI supercharged engine and transmission. The vehicle starts like clockwork, the power brakes are excellent, a little too much even! The paintwork is in very good condition and has a beautiful sheen in its own right. The roof is in very good condition. The chrome is also in excellent condition. The interior is in excellent condition, the dashboard is in very good condition, the door panels the carpet and the seats are also in excellent condition and the whitewall tyres should be replaced as they are not efficient in the rain.
