Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is working properly. The watch has been slightly polished during previous servicing but the proportions are still very nice, hallmarks on the case back are crisp. The bezel with a minor ding at 1 o'clock visible to the naked eye. Otherwise the watch is in very good overall condition with minor signs of wear only. The buckle with signs of polishing and the signature has partially faded.

Not the most popular amongst Audemars Piguet collections, the Huitième is one of the watches that are often overlooked by collectors. Back in the 90s, it is rare that dress watches are made to this size and Audemars Piguet is one of the forefathers of having a 40 mm case for their timepieces. With double signatures on the dial and engraved on the bezel, the dial is extremely readable and practical combining the date function.
