Catalogue Note:
Designed by the visionary Swiss watch designer, Gerald Genta, the Royal Oak made its groundbreaking debut at the Basel watch fair in 1972, revolutionizing the landscape of haute horlogerie.

The reference 4275 was produced for a limited period between 1981 and 1985, with a total production of only 27 watches, including 15 in white gold (4275BC) and 12 in yellow gold (4275BA).

Among these, four were sold in 1981, nine in 1982, and two in 1985. Part of the esteemed model 4100 family, the Royal Oak 4275BC adopted the gemset bezel from the reference 4153 and introduced a distinctive 'line-set' bracelet.

This specific timepiece is one of the nine sold in 1982, yet it bears a rare distinction. The original black dial was replaced by a silvered version, further enhancing the rarity of this already scarce piece.

Featuring a date complication, the Royal Oak 4275BC boasts a smooth silvered dial adorned with 10 brilliant-cut diamonds, while 72 brilliant-cut diamonds embellish the case rim and a bracelet set with rows of 302 diamonds adorns the links.

This exceptional timepiece, with its replaced silvered dial and meticulous diamond embellishments, represents a rare opportunity for discerning collectors to own a piece of horological history.
