Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The dial with signs of oxidation towards the center. The bezel with signs of oxidation, especially at 8 o'clock, visible with the naked eyes. The case and the bracelet with surface wear throughout. Overall the watch is in very good condition considering its age.

Catalogue Note:
The Lady Royal Oak reference 8638 was launched in 1976, even before the legendary model 5402. As the first feminine Royal Oak, it raised the question of gender in watchmaking and offered a new take of the collection. Designed by Jacqueline Dimier, it shifted the approach and played to the Royal Oak’s strong character, adapting its handsome proportions to obtain a lighter, sleeker look.
