Mrs. Rice was active in the Mississippi art community during the second half of the 20th century. She exhibited at galleries in the region and was well know for her dry point and acid bitten etchings. The Wolfe gallery had an exhibition of her work in 1950 and she was also active in the Alison Well's art colony. She moved to Jackson, Mississippi in the late 1940's from Texas and later moved to Oklahoma where she passed in 1985. Dimensions:
