Copy established in a beautiful purplish half-chagrin binding, ribbed spine, decorated with gilded boxes and title, cold-stamped percaline boards, all gilt edges, moiré paper endpapers.

Strong and decorative binding. Slight friction from use on the caps and bits. Fresh and clean interior despite some rare foxing.

Didactic work by the Alsatian zoologist & doctor Dominique Auguste Lereboullet born September 19, 1804 in Épinal and died October 6, 1865 in Strasbourg.
