A masterful green patinated bronze statue by Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). Titled, The Cathedral "Cathedrale, grand modele," rendered after the original 1908 work. The sculpture features a pair of intricately intertwined right hands, rising elegantly from a rectangular base. A motif that Rodin explored to convey unity and spiritual depth. Inscribed with A. Rodin and Alexis Rudier Fondeur Paris on base and raised A. Rodin inside bottom interior. Provenance; a private collection.
