Augustus II the Strong Document Signed

Elector of Saxony, King of Poland, and Grand Duke of Lithuania (1670–1733) renowned for his great physical strength. He is remembered for his conversion to Catholicism, for his great patronage of the arts, and for fathering a vast number of children. Manuscript DS in German, signed “Augustus Rex,” one page both sides, 7.75 x 12.75, January 19, 1703. Untranslated document signed at the conclusion by Augustus II. In very good to fine condition, with seal-related staining (wax seal no longer present).
