Austin - Mini Special Grand Prix - 1978
This 1978 Mini is very unique! Converted in the late 90s with a Mini-Grand Prix set, supplied in Germany via Austin Rover dealer MASSA. This gave the car an extra sporty look and interior. It was fitted in the 2000s with a 1. 4L tuned engine block with a special camshaft, carburettors, oil pump, manifold, clutch, shock absorbers, exhaust etc. Driving this Mini is very special and particularly fast with a great sound! The body was resprayed in the special colour Tahiti Blue Metallic with a white roof, it’s in very nice condition (no rust or damage) . The car drives, shifts, brakes and steers great. The brakes have been completely overhauled and a reinforced subframe has been fitted underneath. The car has not been welded. No effort or expense were spared in getting the Mini in this condition. It was recently (6/2018) valued at 21,500 euros. This Mini is truly special and one of a kind! A Dutch periodic vehicle inspection can be arranged upon delivery. The car can be picked up in Bussum, The Netherlands.
