1913 (June 3) usage of Registration Envelope with boxed 'REGISTERED' Kangaroo 4d yellow-orange ACSC RE1 (a bit faded) to California with added combination franking of Kangaroos 1d red and New South Wales ½d blue-green tied by two largely very fine strikes of 'QUEEN VICTORIA MARKETS/N.S.W' cds with matching red & black/white R label alongside, Sydney & San Francisco transits and Los Angeles arrival backstamps, US 'REGISTERED' handstamp in purple on the face, a couple of minor blemishes. The rate was foreign letter 2½d + 3d registration. Ex Rod Perry, where the fading wasn't mentioned: sold for $1380
