Austria - 19th Century - Mid to Late - I. Peterlongo - combination gun - Centerfire - Rifle - 9,3×72R & 16 gauge
Combination rifle in calibre 9. 3x72R (rifled barrel) and calibre 16 gauge hail. The rifle is in neat and used condition. It cocks and closes neatly and internally the barrels are still quite smooth (the ball barrel still has good rifling) with some light specks of pitting. The front trigger (for the ball barrel) has a so-called "trigger accelerator"; when the trigger is pushed forward, the accelerator mechanism is tensioned, giving the trigger a feather-light trigger pressure. The rifle was made by Austrian rifle maker I. Peterlongo from Innsbruck and features Austrian black powder test bench stamps. It will be shipped by registered and insured mail via Post. NL.
