Description:This rug came out from the estate of Eric Steiner from a country house in Virginia. We were able to buy a few of this kind silk prayer from the same auction. You can check our other auction to look for antique Silk Heriz & Tabrize prayer rug. The one that I am offering here is a super fine piece, easily 500 KPSI or possibly more, awesome deep red inside of the Mehrab (Arch) ad pastel in the main borders. This was made in late 1800 and amazingly has maintained in a very good condition, reason for that because it was hung on the wall, is in very good condition, besides one small repair that show in picture # 5 I did not see any other flaws. I also have attached an image from the back side. When it comes to this type of silk antique prayer rugs from that period. some people might think that it was made in Turkey than Persia, in any other case it dos not matter because a good quality antique rugs does not matter where it was made. for those who think that could be a Turkish, please, look at the picture from the back. I don't want the nuyer receive the rug and request for the return to say that the rug wasn't Persia. Finally, for the price that I am offering, no one could go wrong.
