Autobianchi - 500 Giardiniera - 1978

One of the last units built of the legendary Giardiniera, a particular version due to its rear-view mirror on the door and the hubcaps similar to those of the Fiat 126. The car was completely restored in 2019/2020 with the replacement of: bottom sheet metal, side sills, front wings, front part, bonnet lining. No major works carried out on the back of the body. The car was completely repainted. The front lights were replaced and also all seals of doors, tailgate, front and rear windows. New interior and panels. This car had only one owner and has always been used locally. The odometer reading is about 13,995 km but it is a 5-digit odometer, so we can’t guarantee that the kilometres are not actually 113,995. The car underwent a complete service, the engine works perfectly and starts immediately, the transmission works properly and effectively. The brakes were redone with the installation of a new brake pump, cylinders and shoes. The electrical system works perfectly in all its functions. The tyres were replaced. This vehicle underwent a pre-inspection. Unfortunately, it was not possible to perform a regular inspection due to Covid-19 (postponed by law in Italy to October 2020) . It is still waiting for the inspection and maybe it can be carried out in these days, however it will be done in a very short time.
