Autograph Collection.- British Royalty Group of letters by sons of George III, comprising: Adolphus Duke of Cambridge (three letters, one recommending Mr Lewis for the living of Cadbury in Devonshire, one canvassing a vote for a retired servant for a charity hospital and one saying that the recipient has done well in withdrawing the vote he had given to admit Mr Brymer to the reading room at the British Museum as the person in question is not fit, six pages in total, 1841-1849); Augustus Duke of Sussex (brief note "It will not be in my power to dine with the Hammonds this day", n.d.) and Edward Duke of Kent ("The Duke of Kent in acknowledging Mrs Ogilvie's obliging note which he found on his table upon his retun from town last evening, begst to assure her that he always feels a very sincere pleasure in conveying to her as promplty as possible the enclosure he receives from her worthy Husband", two pages, 18 October 1815); also including a Christmas card signed by the Duke and Duchess of Kent, featuring a colour image of their children on the front, light wear along fold, oblong 8vo, c. 1970s.
