Autograph letter signed
By Chagall, Marc (1887-1985)
Chagall, Marc (1887-1985) - Autograph letter signed - Russian-French artist. Autograph letter signed "Chagall". 1p., 8.0 x 8.75 inch, 3 allée des Pins, (Paris) Boulogne, 1926 October 5. Addressed to the Gallery Briant-Robert. Chagall writes in French that the majority of his works are held by the Galerie Granoff. The gallery probably has invited Chagall to exhibit his works or perhaps to be published there, because the gallery was producing art books at the time. Indistinct signature at the foot of the page, possibly "Robert" offset from another document. Mailing folds, two pinholes near the top edge, a few light creases and marks, overall in good condition, with the large Chagall signature in excellent condition. COMES WITH A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY BY ANDREAS WIEMER HISTORICAL AUTOGRAPHS. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
