Azande statuette - Azande - DR Congo
The Zandé carved two types of sculpture.
The first includes objects between 30 and 50 cm, the Kudu representing the ancestors.
The second composed of small statuettes of 10 and 20 cm the Yanda in animal or human form having an atropihaic role and were exhibited during the Yanda divination rites and the word means strength and spirit and which also designates these figurines.
They are decorated with pearls, rings, coated with libations of all kinds
