Syphon is located inside the bottle unattached to the top. To open, release the lever and twist. Top comes off leaving syphon inside. When top is clamped back, syphon is securely in place. Mechanism is very well made and tight.; Measurements: Atomizer is 7-3/4" Tall with a replacement Bulb. Larger Cologne stands 7" Tall - Smaller Cologne is 6-1/2" Tall.
