Cal. 32 RF Long. S# 82. Bbl. 5", octagon with brass cone front sight. High-recoil shield iron frame with spur trigger and center-mounted hammer. Two-piece rosewood grips. Estimated quantity of 1,600 mfg. in the early to mid-1860s. CONDITION: bbl. retains 60% dull, fading blue, showing scattered corrosion. The frame has faded to gray, showing scattered corrosion. Grips show light wear & marks. Action will not hold in a cocked position. The lightly pitted bore retains largely intact rifling. (01-24865/DS). ANTIQUE. $350-500.
